About
I was born into life as an artist in the wide world of color in soft pastels.
I like my paintings to tell a story. I often get inspired to do series of paintings on story lines that catch my imagination, such as the series based on photographs I took or found about the city of Detroit in 2017.
I like my paintings to be beautiful. So I try to choose subjects that I find beautiful in their very nature, such as a sailboat on the river, or a portrait of my mother offering me something from her fridge.
I have lived, worked and traveled all over the world since the late 1980’s. I have never found a happier place than my studio in Beverly Hills, Michigan!
